The Kheops Pyramid is the one in the back which look smallest, but it isn't the smallest it's just built on a lower plan. I'm sorry it's not a better picture regarding composition, but I couldn't walk away from my group and we had limited time.
It's one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world. It's also the only wonder which still stands to this day! The Kheops pyramid was built for king Khufu and it is the oldest and biggest pyramid of the ones in Giza. King Khufu is said to be a tyran and he didn't leave any other things to remember him from. The only 'portrait' we have left of him to this day is a 7cm high statue which is in The Egyptian Museum in Cairo. It's really small I have seen it and you can't imagine that he didn't leave any other monuments, but I guess it doesn't matter his name is imortal with the largest monument of the world his Pyramid.

OH wow!!! As one egyptology fanatic to another, thanks so much for sharing this fantastic shot! I would love to go to egypt someday... and not get blown to grit. ^_^ I'm envious of your expierences! Again, wonderful shot!
